Your booking

Your booking is confirmed as soon as you submit the booking form, and we send you a confirmation email. We then assign a suitable electrician who covers your area. If we cannot attend on your chosen date, we will contact you to arrange another date or cancel at no cost to you.

Prices

Prices are shown on our website and include the work described for each service. A "from" price is the starting price for a standard job (for example a 1–2 bedroom home for an EICR). Larger properties, extra items or additional work cost more.

Extra work

If the electrician finds further work is needed, such as repairs following a condition report, they will explain why and give you a price. No extra work is carried out or charged without your agreement.

Payment

You can pay by bank transfer or in cash. Your confirmation email shows the amount due and how to pay. Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise.

The work

Work is carried out by an independent electrician assigned by BookASparky. Please give safe access to the property and the parts of the installation being worked on.

Cancelling or rearranging

You can cancel or rearrange free of charge by giving us at least 24 hours' notice. If you booked online you also have a 14-day right to cancel under consumer law; if you ask us to start work within that period, you may have to pay for work already done.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any work, contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you and the electrician to put things right.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
