How we vet our electricians
Registered electricians (NICEIC/NAPIT)
We only assign work to electricians registered with a government-approved competent person scheme such as NICEIC or NAPIT. We check their registration on the scheme's public register before they join.
Insured
Every electrician must hold public liability insurance before taking jobs through BookASparky. We ask for their insurance documents and record the expiry date.
ID and qualifications checked
We check photo ID and the electrician's qualifications, including inspection and testing certificates for EICR work. Electricians stay inactive until these checks are complete.
Certificate within 24 hours
For inspections and testing, your certificate or report is sent to you within 24 hours of the visit. You can also download it from your booking email link.
Price agreed before work starts
Fixed prices are shown before you book. Any extra work is explained and priced, and nothing starts until you agree.
